The two incumbents on the Vincennes Community School Board won re=election to new terms. Both Pat Hutchison and Lynne Bobe gained their seats back, as they defeated challenger Breanne Clark.
Hutchison was the top vote-getter. Among his top issues the next four years is adjusting to a changing landscape of school funding—especially in the wake of recent property tax cuts.
Other top items for the coming years include needed updates to both Lincoln High School and Clark Middle School. With the two incumbents winning yesterday, all five School Board members will remain the same going into 2027.
In the North Knox area, Donald Osborn took the seat in North Knox District “B” with 55 percent of the vote in his win over challenger Kara Chambers.
