The Town of Freelandville turns 150 in the year 2016! There are several sesquicentennial events planned, which will culminate with a grand community celebration on August 26th, 27th and 28th of 2016. Activities scheduled include a softball tournament, crafts, parade, delicious homemade meals, live music, a special Founder’s ceremony celebrating Freelandville’s rich history and numerous events that will include many children’s activities!
The highlight of the Sesquicentennial will be the evening of Saturday, August 28th. Enjoy a fish fry with a mix of local area bands on the main stage that will play until the Grand Fireworks show that will begin at dark.
