The Dubois County Museum opens their Christmas holiday season on Thursday, November 15, with the opening of the annual Festival of Trees.
The holiday season also features these scheduled programs:
Sunday, Nov 18—2pm Haysville Ruritan holds Ruritan annual raffle drawing.
Thursday, Nov 22—Closed Thanksgiving
Sunday, Nov 25 at 1:15pm—Kinder Karneval German Festival for children put on by JHS students studying German.
Sunday, Nov 25—Christmas Carols sung by the Singing Seniors at 3 pm. Refreshments.
Dec 1–2 (Saturday and Sunday) O’Tannenbaum Days:
Come view the Festival of Trees displayed. This year’s theme is Americana/God Bless America

Sunday, Dec 16, 1:30—Blake Buechlein brings his Patoka River alligator (yes, it is alive) and his collection of live snakes, lizards, and turtles. Fascinating!
