Poultry Issues Continue in Indiana, Illinois

The CDC says public health officials are investigating a multistate outbreak of Salmonella illnesses.

The agency says the illnesses are linked to contact with backyard poultry, which can carry Salmonella.

As of April 13th, 34 people infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella have been reported in 13 states, including Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Michigan.
