This is the season for assistance for the United Way of Knox County, as the group is giving funds to help non-profits serve the community. United Way of Knox County director Scott Charleston says their assistance will focus on three directives– health, education, and financial stability. Charleston says one educational area they have really focused on is already at work across Knox County.
United Way officials are also working up to their annual fund-raising campaign. That is traditionally a program that runs from late summer through the end of the calendar year.
