The average price of gas in Indiana is back above $4.00 per gallon.
The Triple A Motor Club says the state’s average price on Wednesday was $4.09 per gallon, 10¢ higher than Tuesday, but 14¢ lower than Wednesday’s national average of $4.23 per gallon.
It was also $1.05 higher than a year ago. Vincennes gas prices in some areas are also nearing four dollars a gallon.
Meanwhile Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Wednesday was $5.26 a gallon, $1.67 higher than a year ago.
And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Wednesday was 42¢ per kilowatt hour, the same as Wednesday’s national average.
