Early Voting Reached Around ten Percent in Knox County

Voter turnout is about as expected. That is the word from Knox County Clerk David Shelton.

Shelton tells us the early vote county-wide was about ten percent, while squares it with previous mid-term election primaries.  On most days, at least 150 people made it to the early vote centers to cast ballots for thir candidates.

The polls stay open until six this evening.  Join us on this station for election results all evening long, with final numbers as they are posted from the Knox County Courthouse.
