Over 24-hundred students are receiving degrees and certificates during various Vincennes University commencement ceremonies this week. The final graduation ceremony will happen Saturday at the University’s Jasper campus.
The main ceremony happened last Saturday at the Unviersity’s P-E Complex, as this year’s grads make up the 225th graduating class from V-U. University president Chuck Johnson challenged the graduates to join him in lifelong service to their various communities.
As part of last Saturday’s ceremony in Vincennes, Dennis Bland received an Honorary Doctorate of Education for his work in leadership development. Bland heads up the Center for Leadership Development in Indianapolis.
