Indiana Department of Transportation crews will start repairs on the railroad tracks at Linton a week from today—Wednesday, May 20th. The closure will affect the tracks crossing State Road 59 near downtown Linton.
This closing is being considered as an emergency repair. It is expected to take about a week to complete, depending on weather. The closure detour will use State Road 67 to State Road 54. As normal, local traffic will have access to the point of closure.
