The Town of Bruceville is seeking an appointment to fill its Clerk-Treasurer position. The position opened with the resignation of Roger Spires from the spot.
Knox County Republican Chair David Shelton will make a direct appointment to fill the position at six p-m Monday, June first. That will happen at the County Clerk’s office at the County Courthouse. To be eligible, the candidate must live within the Bruceville town limits.
Anyone interested must submit a letter of intent, along with a C-E-B 5 form. The deadline to submit the intent is six p-m May 29, or 72 hours before the appointment meeting. Submissions to Shelton may be made in person at the Clerk’s office, or online at Shelton’s Knox County Republican E-mail address.
