Progress is moving forward on a possible use of the Knox County Emergency Operations Center. The Knox County Commissioners are considering a use of the Knox County Sheriff’s Department shell building for that facility.

An estimate showed the building contains nearly 37-hundred square feet of space on two floors.  Knox County Commissioner Tim Ellerman hopes to have a Building Committee meeting on the subject before the next Commissioners’ session on Tuesday, June 16th.
