A Monroe County woman is recovering from injuries she received, as this week’s severe weather ripped through the Bloomington area.
The unnamed woman hid in her bathtub inside her mobile home as the storm ripped through Monroe County.
She survived, but the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says she broke her ankle and possibly broke or dislocated her hip as the storm descended on her mobile home. The woman is recovering at the hospital. The mobile home was destroyed.
