Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum recently returned from what he is calling a successful trip to both France and Germany. Part of the trip was a visit to both Vincennes’ sister cities—Vincennes, France, and Wasserburg, Germany.
Mayor Yochum says part of the trip included a dedication of a park to this Vincennes, from the people of Vincennes, France.
Prior to arrival in Vincennes came the German part of the trip. That part included a visit to both a German trade show, and a visit with top management at Schott Glass. Schott has a presence in Vincennes, with a factor on Chestnut Street. Yochum reports a productive meeting with the top brass at Schott. To help with the business aspect of the trip, the Mayor was joined by KCIED director Chris Pfaff.
