The City of Vincennes and Knox County have both received additional funding from the Community Crossings Matching Grant. Knox County got a million dollars in added funding, while Vincennes gets over 41-thousand, 500 dollars in added CCMG road and bridge repair grants. Also, Daviess County received one-million dollars while the Town of Montgomery received $91,216. The Town of Patoka was funded with nearly 92-thousand dollars, while Petersburg will use nearly 78-thousand dollars more, and Linton will use over 51-thousand dollars in extra road and bridge funding.
That brings the total from the fiscal year 2026 funding to just over $165 million for local road and bridge projects.
