Teresa was the beloved daughter of Rebecca “Land” Ready and the late Larry Ready. She was a mother to Ashley Moffett-Brooks (David Decker), and a grandmother to John Brooks. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth “Ready” Linneweber, along with her nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Lawrence “Larry,” Johnathan, and Marjorie Linneweber, as well as her aunts, uncles, and cousins. Teresa attended Vincennes University, where she studied radio. She later worked at the IGA and Save A Lot in Princeton. Throughout her years of employment, she was known for her dependability, friendly personality, and ease in connecting with others. Teresa had many interests that reflected her creative and caring nature. She loved to crochet and took great joy in making pot holders, shawls, and anything else she could create with her hands. Her handiwork was a reflection of the patience and love she poured into the things she made. She also loved her family deeply, enjoyed spending time on Facebook, and never knew a stranger. Her welcoming personality made others feel comfortable in her presence, and she had a way of making people feel seen and valued.
She was a former member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and attended Followers of Christ Christian Church.
