The Knox County Council has approved an ordinance to take the former AgroRenew TIF area, and revert it back to the U-S 41 Industrial Park The move terminates the earier tax increment financing language, and sets the land as it was before the failed project started.
In a related measure, Council members heard the results of an independent audit of AgroRenew and the Pahtheon Business Theatre. The audit showed no issues at all with eitehr the Agro Renew, or the Pantheon’s, finances.
