Indiana Cash Reserves Up 60 Percent for FY 2026

The state of Indiana ended fiscal year 2026 with a 60% increase in reserves.

According to Indiana Comptroller Elise Nieshalla, the state had a $1.86 billion surplus, closing the fiscal year with almost four-billion dollars in reserves.

A little over $1 billion is in the Rainy-Day Fund.
