The 21st annual Red Skelton Festival will return to Vincennes tonight and tmorrow, as a celebration of Skelton’s birthday. The festival began with the completion of the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center in 2006.
Red Skelton Museum director Anne Pratt says the activities start at the Skelton site late this afternoon. An annual centerpiece of the festival is the annual Clown Parade. That is set for tomorrow morning in downtown Vincennes. Pratt reminds everyone the parade will take a shortened route this year.
More information on the weekend’s Skelton Festival activites is available at the Red Skelton Museum’s Facebook page.
