It was a Ohio Valley Regional sweep for the South Lexington Crush, as thei win both titles yesterday at the Vincennes Cub League complex. ‘
In the 9 and under title game, the Crush defeated the Vincennes All-Stars 8-7. The Vincennes team got the final by defeating Valparaiso Blue in the semifinal, and South Lexington Red in their opener. Vincennes was the five seed in the 9 and under bracket going into the weekend.
The South Lexington Crush ten year-olds beat South Lexington Red 5-3 for the ten year-old title. IN that bracket, the third-seed Vincennes 10 year-old All-Stars were eliminated by Campbellsville, Kentucky.
