Indiana health officials say cyclosporiasis cases continue to increase across the state.

The Indiana Department of Health reports nearly 750 cases statewide.

The illness is linked to food or water contaminated with a parasite and commonly causes diarrhea and stomach problems.  One of the main causes has been linked to lettuce sources serving Taco Bell restaurants in various states—including Indiana.

Anyone experiencing symptoms is encouraged to contact a healthcare provider.
