The Indiana Department of Transportation continues its work on making the U-S 41 intersection with Industrial Drive into a reduced conflict intersection. The U-turn based intersection is happening as part of overall work on U-S 41 south of Vincennes.
INDOT’s Gary Bryan says the nearby under constriction Amazon plant is a big reason for the R-C-I going into place now. Bryan feels the U-turn based work will be a big part of an improved U-S 41 south of Vincennes.
The Amazon “fulfillment center” will create both large and smaller truck traffic for that intersection, making the Industrial Drive/U-S 41 re-alignment necessary.
