South Knox School “Corporation superintendent Jeff Cochren reported a lower of number of Corporation students starting school this year than in 2025. At last night’s School Board meeting, Cochren reported a total student population of 1145, compared with 1180 to start the last school year.
Of that total, 598 were in kindergarten to sixth grade, with 547 in grades seven through 12. The total is unofficial and subject to adjustment; the official count to be reported to state education officials will happen next month.
