Centerpoint Energy has got the go-ahead to install a new gas line along Kimmel Road to the under-construction First Bank location at Kimmel Pointe. The new two-inch line will stretch from Kimmel and Main to the facility.
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum says the new gas line underscores the continued growth in that area. Mayor Yochum also hints at a second establishment coming into Kimmel Pointe, along with the First Bank addition.
The City also continues to seek other businesses willing to put down roots in the Kimmel Pointe area.
