Indiana Giving 40 Million to Rural Hosiptals

Indiana is launching a thirty-million-dollar initiative to improve maternal and pediatric emergency care in rural hospitals.

Governor Mike Braun announced the five-year partnership between the Indiana Department of Health and the IU School of Medicine.

The program, named “OPEration Ready,” will provide specialized training and updated equipment to rural emergency rooms across the state to help prevent maternal and infant deaths.
