The Indiana Department of Transportation continues its work toward area projects as the traditional construction season enters its final couple of months. INDOT’s Gary Bryan says many of the smaller seasonal projects are complete—or close to it. One of the most notable completions was work on Hart Street at the U-S 41 overpass; that one completed earlier this month.
In addition to completing projects, INDOT is also looking to coming work—including improvement for the State Road 257 bridge at the White River. Bryan says that one—along with State Road 358 bridge at Edwarsdport—is affected a lot by high water from the White. The State Road 257 bridge connects Daviess and Pike Counties over the east fork of the White River.
