Donna “Zigler” Ritchey, age 75, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away at home on September 4, 2026. Donna was born on May 25, 1951, in Vincennes, Indiana, to Clay Owen and Mary “Stone” Ziegler. She was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School and a 1995 graduate of Vincennes University. While attending VU, Donna met her husband of 34 years, Stephen Ritchey, and followed him to Atlanta, where they built a life together.
Donna was a faithful wife and a good homemaker who fiercely loved her family, her country, and her Cocker Spaniels. Donna was especially close to her mother and moved back to Vincennes in 2015 to care for her mom.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lynda Zigler; and a brother-in-law, Robert Byrnes.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Ritchey, and a sister, Connie Byrnes.
At Donna’s request, she will be cremated, and her ashes interned at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana. Online condolences and fond memories may be made at www.fredrickandson.com.
