Hundreds of people climbed 110 flights of stairs at Notre Dame Stadium Wednesday to honor the nearly 3,000 people killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The eighth annual ND 110 stair climb pays tribute to the victims and the first responders who climbed the stairs of the World Trade Center 25 years ago. More than 1,400 people pre-registered for this year’s event, which aimed to raise more than $40,000 for first-responder programs. The event began in 2019 with just over 100 participants and has grown into a Notre Dame tradition.
