Habitat for Humanity of Evansville celebrated the launch of its fourth home through a partnership that connects housing, health care and higher education. The home is being built at 1000 N. Third Ave. for James and Fancy Johnson and their family of five. The Building Homes and Health initiative includes Habitat for Humanity, Deaconess Health System, Indiana University School of Medicine Evansville, the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana. Deaconess has funded all four homes, while students from the three universities have volunteered during construction.
