The United Way of Knox County Days of Caring will happen again this year this Thuresday and Friday.
The two-day event is a chance to help various United Way funded agencies with various things they need around their property. It also contains a two-day food drive to help various food pantries across the county.
U-W-K-C director Scott Charleston feels this is a great time for individuals to help with their donor agencies’ needs,
Charleston also reminds potential volunteers of the need these agencies face,
Last year, over 500 people stepped up to help out in one way or another. Various businesses have also made it a volunteer day—including longtime backer Old National Bank.
