In volleyball:
The South Knox Lady Spartans defeated Eastern Greene in three sets—25-14, 25-14, and 25-3. Makayla Carie led with 21 service points, 19 assists, and five service aces. Braelyn Gladis and Shelbi Carie both added 10 points each. Brooklyn Flanigam scored eight kills, while Janet West added seven. South Knox moves to 12-5 with the win.
In tennis:
Vincennes Lincoln shut out Princeton 5-0. Singles winners were Conner Hahn, Bronx Carter, and Mick Hall. Doubles wins went to Carter Johnson and Brady Allen, and Gabe Vasquez and Luke Clark.
The South Knox Spartans edged out Evansville Central 3-2. Layne Hays and Maddox Sargent were singles winners, while while Cooper Neal and Ethan Cork were victorious in doubles.
IN JV football:
The Vincennes Lincoln Alices move to 5-0 with a 49-7 win over Linton. Quarterback Daveon Jennings led with five touchdown passes, including two to Landon Bouchie.
In Middle School sports:
The Clark Middle School 7th and 8th grade teams split against North Clay. The 8th grade lost 14-6, despite a 16 for 23 passing night for Collin Smith. Smith threw for 180 years and a score to Chase Hawkins. Hawkins himself had 8 catches for 113 yeards and a touchdown.
The Clark 7th grade won 18-8 over North Clay. Tyson Allen was three of four in the area for 108 yards and two scores. Allen also ran for 79 yards, including a rushing touchdown.
The Clark Middle School 7th grade volleyball team lost in two sets to Vincennes Rivet. The Lady Patriots took the match 25-22 and 25-22.
