KC Area Plan Commission to Hold Lucky Point Solar Hearing October Sixth

The Knox County Area Plan Commission will meet October sixth for a public hearing on the Lucky Point Solar plant in southern Knox County.  The hearing will happen that evening at 6:00 p.m. at the City of Vincennes Water Plant at 1134 River Road.  The application is available for review at the Knox County Area Plan Commission Office at 111 North 7th Street, Suite 13 in Vincennes.  Written comments in support or opposition to the application are currently being accepted and may be submitted in person, by mail, or by email to the Area Plan Commission Executive Director before the Public Hearing.

Earlier, the Knox County Council and Knox County Commissioners unanimously approved an Economic Development Agreement. That includes a road use and decommissioning agreement for the Lucky Point Energy Project.
