Triple A Motor Club says the average price of gas in Indiana on Wednesday was $3.98 per gallon, 49¢ lower than Wednesday’s national average of $4.47 per gallon.
It was also 88¢ higher than a year ago. In Vincennes, prices are starting to inch up toward that four dollar a gallon mark.
Meanwhile Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Wednesday was $6.92 a gallon, 63¢ higher than a week ago. It was also $3.10 higher than a year ago. That diesel price is the highest in state history.
And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Wednesday was a steady 43¢ per kilowatt hour, a penny higher than Wednesday’s national average.
