In soccer:
The Vincennes Lincoln Alices dominated play in a 6-0 victory over the Sullivan Golden Arrows on Senior Night at LHS. The Alices led 5-0 at half, and cruised to victory by dominating possession on the evening.
Claudson Thomas had three goals for the winning Alices, with single goals from Calvin Doggett, Gera Solva, and Carson Heiden. The win brings the Alices to 14-1 in the season.
The Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alices soccer team went up 1-0 early, but saw Sullivan score three answering goals to defeat them, 3-1, and claim the WIC title. Brynley Catt scored the opening goal in the second minute, before Sullivan answered their three straight goals to win it. The loss sends LHS to 11-2-1 on the season.
The Rivet Patriots even their record at 6-6-1 with a 3-0 win over West Vigo.
In Volleyball:
The South Knox Lady Spartans defeated Bloomfield 3 sets to 1. The Lady Spartans lost the first set 25-23, but won the final three 25-23, 25-12, and 25-21.
Makayla Carie had a triple double, with 25 assista, 12 digs, and 14 service points. Ja’Net West scored 15 kills, 11 assists, and 10 service points. Tylee Wall added 16 points and 10 digs, while Natalie West scored 13 kills and 15 digs. Braely Gldish tallied 24 digs, with 12 from Shelbi Carie. Brooklyn Glanigam also scored 10 kills.
In middle school sports:
The Clark Middle School 6th grade teams split with Rivet. Rivet took the 6-A match 25-19, 15-25, 11-15. Savannah Santiago led with 12 service points. C-M-S took the 6-B matchup, 27-25, 21-25, and 15-11.
