By Tom Zimmerman Oct 14, 2026 | 5:00 AM

Improving housing quantity and quality are still the drumbeats of the Knox County Indiana Economic Development Corporation.  The emphasis stems from a recent study showing Knox County in an over-forty year population decline.  K-C-I-E-D director Chris Pfaff calls that loss of people one of the biggest challenges for Knox County’s development as a whole.

Developers have worked on various single and multi-family structures to start the process toward improving the number and quality of housing across the county.
