The Knox County Council agreed to adjust the County’s insurance investment for the coming 2027 calendar year. That happened during the budget hearings in September.
The adjusted levels were suggested by Commissioners’ president T-J Brink. Brink says the added benefit wasn’t a small amount.Brink also promises to continue his move toward reducing the cost of the County’s family plan insurance.
Any adjustments to the plan would apply to the coming 2027 calendar year for workers employed by Knox County and its departments.
