Indiana State Police is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration for its “Prescription Drug Take Back” initiative.
Throughout today (Saturday), unwanted medications may be dropped off at any Indiana State Police Post. The “Take Back” initiative seeks to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft through proper disposal of prescription drugs.
Any medication or other drugs may be dropped off at Take Back locations, with no questions asked. Also, similar drug disposal areas are also available 24/7 in the lobbies of both the Vincennes Police Department and Knox County Sheriff’s Department.
