One person was killed and one injured in a multi-vehicle accident last night on U-S 41 just north of its exit with Interstate 64 in Gibson County.
The accident involved a car eastbound on Gibson County Road 1250 North striking a Ford Super Duty truck headed north on U-S 41. The impact sent the truck across a ditch, and into a parked Amazon van on the lot of the nearby Pilot truck stop.
One of the drivers involved was pronounced dead on the scene. Another was hospitalized in Evansville with non-life threatening injuries. At this time, the name of the person killed in the accident has not been released by the Gibson County Coroner.
