We are around a month away from the annual Knox County Shop with a Cop. The event brings law enforcement and kids together for a shopping spree at the Vincennes Wal-Mart. This year’s event will happen on Tuesday, September 8th.
Vincennes Police Department public information officer Macey Baxter says as normal, the event starts with a parade from PACE headquarters. Donations are being accepted now for Shop with a Cop this year. Baxter reminds everyone donations are available by contacting the Vincennes Police Department.
Vincennes Police Department Headquarters are at 501 Busseron Street in downtown Vincennes. The lobby is open during regular business hours for any Shop with a Cop donations.
